About Intaxify

Intaxify offers tailored tax services to both (tax) advisory firms and companies on a flexible basis. This can either be on a project-by-project basis or on an interim basis.

Intaxify does not only consider the tax technical aspects, but, sometimes even more importantly, also the overall needs of the client. Due to the combined experience in working for an international tax firm as well as (listed) multinationals, Intaxify has a solid understanding of the multiple angles on how tax related questions can – and should – be addressed. Intaxify aims to go beyond a one-dimensional tax perspective or mere assisting role on technicalities.

Intaxify acts as your sparring partner to deliver practical and tailored tax advice.

Biography

Marlot Witjes is an experienced tax lawyer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

In 2011, she started her career at an international tax firm where she worked in the international corporate tax department. She focused on all-round international tax (including restructuring, refinancing, permanent establishments, transfer pricing, withholding tax and EU law), project management (including coordination with other stakeholders such as legal or indirect tax), supply chain management, tax controversy and negotiations with the Dutch tax administration (including APA/ATRs).

In 2017, Marlot switched to in-house tax work and fulfilled the role of tax manager within the Headquarters of a Dutch listed multinational. She managed the global tax affairs of their entities for direct taxes (corporate income tax, tax compliance, tax audits, transfer pricing, withholding tax and various miscellaneous taxes). Furthermore, she worked on transfer pricing and country by country reporting obligations in various countries and was involved in the quarterly tax closing process (tax accounting). In addition, she has experience with SAP and was involved in company-wide projects involving multiple stakeholders such as treasury, corporate legal, finance, operations and IT.

In 2018, she started Intaxify. Credentials relating to interim tax services rendered by Intaxify are available upon request.
